Austin Jay "A.J." Boersema, age 37 of Zeeland, passed away Friday, May 28, 2021 at home surrounded by family.

Austin is survived by his wife Jennifer (Ter Vree) Boersema; 2 sons Jackson and Colton.

Austin was born in Zeeland April 30, 1984 to Arvin and Joan (Ykema) Boersema. He attended Borculo Christian Schools and would graduate from Zeeland East High School. Austin was an avid hunter and fisherman; an amazing husband, father, son, family man, inspirational warrior, and friend. He had a huge heart, always putting others ahead of his needs and wishes, and never complained about anything. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his wife Jennifer (Ter Vree) Boersema; 2 sons Jackson and Colton; parents-in-law Michael and Kim Ter Vree; sister Jodi and Randy Haveman; brother-in-law Chris and Tara Ter Vree; Nieces and nephews; Lily, Carolyn, Andrew, Harper and Olivia; many grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and extended family and friends.
